Her Open Book asks you the most personal questions you’ll answer online. This page explains what happens to your answers. Last updated 10/19/2026.
What I collect:
Your email address. It’s how your book gets to you, and how I send the short surveys afterward.
Your questionnaire answers. Everything you type or check in the form.
Payment details, if you pay. Your card is handled by Stripe. I never see your card number. Stripe sends me your name, email, and the fact that you paid.
Survey answers and reviews, if you choose to send them.
Basic website data. Like most sites, heropenbook.com uses cookies for things like page analytics. You can turn cookies off in your browser and the site still works.
I don’t ask for your name on the questionnaire. I don’t ask for his.
How your answers are used
Your answers are used for one thing: writing your book. An AI tool drafts it from your answers, and I read and edit every book myself before it’s sent.
Your answers are never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train anything. They aren’t shown to anyone but me.
Who else touches your data
A few services run behind the scenes. Each one sees only what it needs:
Tally hosts the questionnaire and stores your submission until I delete it.
Anthropic provides the AI that drafts your book. Your answers are sent to it for that purpose only.
Google (Gmail and Google Docs) is where I edit and send your book.
Stripe processes payments.
Wix hosts this website.
None of these companies get your answers for any purpose of their own.
How long I keep things
Your questionnaire answers and your book are deleted from my files within 7 days of sending you the book. That includes the form submission, the draft, and the email attachment on my end. After that, the only copy is yours.
Your email address stays on a short list so I can send the follow-up surveys.
Survey answers and reviews are kept as long as they’re useful, with anything that could identify you removed.
If you reply to a book email with edits or questions, that thread stays in my inbox until the conversation is done, then it’s deleted too.
Your rights
You can ask me, any time, to:
Tell you what I have about you
Delete everything I have about you
Correct your email address
Stop sending you surveys

Age
Her Open Book is for adults. You confirm you’re 18 or older before you start the questionnaire. If I learn that someone under 18 has submitted a form, I delete it.
